Product Introduction

High Silica Fiberglass Yarns are unique continuous fiberglass yarns with a higher than 96% SiO2 content. They can resist short-term exposure to temperatures of up to 3002°F/1650°C and can be used continuously at 2012°F/1100°C. Our high silica yarns provide excellent thermal insulation at refractory grade while reducing its shrinkage or loss on ignition at maximum due to sintering and pre-shrinking treatment.

Application:

High Silica Fiberglass Yarns are the raw materials for all kinds of texturized silica textiles like ropes, tapes, sleeves, and clothes. They are also used for other forms of textile weaving, sewing thread, lamp-wicks, atomizer of electronic cigarettes, winding or wrapping heating wire or other heating components, high temperature gaskets, etc..


Storage:

Unless otherwise specified, it is advised to keep high silica fiberglass products in a cool, clean, dry place. Ideal conditions are at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C and a relative humidity between 35% and 65%. Please remain them in their original packaging material until the point of usage. Make sure to protect the product from the weather and other sources of water. When stored properly, there is no known shelf life to the product, but retesting is necessary after three years from the initial production date to insure optimum performance.
