AR (Alkali Resistant) Glass Fiber Chopped Strands are made of Alkali Resistance Glass fibers by cutting strand bundles into various length. It is utilized to reinforce Glassfiber Reinforcement Concrete (GRC), Calcium Silicate and Slag Gypsum products. It is also used as crack control material for normal concrete and cement mortar. it is widely applied in construction and civil engineering fields due to its greatly reduced weight, improved strength, aging-proof, and alkali resistance.
When 2 to 5% of ARG chopped strands are mixed into a simple 1:1 cement :sand and water matrix, a thin but strong form of concrete is produced. - GFRC. GFRC has a high compression strength along with good tensile and bending properties.
ZrO2 content is 16.70% in our regular products, but ZrO2 content of 14.5% products are also available.

Storage:
AR Glass Fiber Chopped Strands must remain in packaging material until just prior to their use. The storage temperature range is from 15°C to 35°C. The humidity range around the environment is from 35% to 65%. If stored below 15°C , it is advised to be held in workshop for 24 hours before use.
