Fiberglass Continuous Filament Mat (CFM) is made of continuous fiberglass filaments randomly looped in multiple layers. The layers are bonded together with a suitable thermoset binder. The fiberglass is equipped with a silane coupling agent that is compatible with UP, Vinyl Ester and Epoxy resin systems etc. This mat can be manufactured in many different areal weights and widths as well as in large or small quantities.
We mainly supply two applications of Continuous Filament Mat (CFM): one for pultrusion and another for compressing molding or infusion. Both types offer end-users with different controls over rigidity, conformability, handling, wet-out and a range of tensile strengths. Our CFM can also be applied in polyurethane foaming process.
Continuous Filament Mat (CFM) for Pultrusion
The CFM95 Series products are ideally suited for manufacture of profiles by pultrusion processes. This mat is characterized by fast wet-through, good wet-out, good conformability, good surface smoothness and high tensile strength.

Continuous Filament Mat (CFM) for Compression Molding and Infusion
The CFM98 Series products are ideally suited for infusion, RTM, S-RIM and compression processes. The CFM has outstanding flow characteristics and can be used for reinforcement and/or for a resin flow media between layers of fabric reinforcement.

Storage:
It is suggested to put fiberglass continuous filament mat in a cool and dry warehouse. The ideal storage temperature is 15 ℃ to 35 ℃. The ideal storage humidity is 35-65%. Please move the product on the production site 24 hours in advance to achieve the best performance before use. Once the packaging is unpacked, please kindly keep the remaining product in sealed packaging until the next use.
