Product Introduction

Woven Roving is a kind of bidirectional fabric and made on looms by interweaving direct roving to fabrics. Plain weave and twill weave are the most common weave methods. It offers bi-directional (Warp& Weft, 0°/90°) reinforcement.


Fiberglass Woven Roving is compatible with unsaturated polyester (UP), vinyl ester (VE), epoxy (EP) and phenolic resins.

Application:

Woven Roving features high-performance reinforcement widely and is widely used in hand lay-up and robot processes to manufacture pipes, tanks, boats, vessels, plane and automotive parts, as well as furniture and sports facilities.


Storage:

Unless otherwise stated, fiberglass woven roving should be kept in a cold, dry location for storage. Temperatures between 10°C to 35°C and relative humidity levels between 35% and 65% are considered ideal. Until it is used, the fiberglass woven roving must stay in its original package. To help prevent condensation, it is advised that the product be stored in the workshop, in its original packaging, for at least 24 hours before use, if the storage temperature is below 15°C. The packaging is not waterproof. Make sure to shield the product from the weather and any water sources. There is no known shelf life for the product when maintained appropriately, although retesting is encouraged three years after the product's initial production date.
