High Silica Fiberglass Cloth is a specially designed fabric, which is fabricated by silica fiberglass yarns with over 96% pure SiO2, a kind of high temperature resistance and inorganic fiber. A purity greater than 96% silica enables our high silica fiberglass fabrics to have tremendous strength, softness and toughness.
Polyurethane (PU) coated, Vermiculite Coated and Aluminized Silica Fiberglass Cloths are still available to enhance the abrasion resistance and tensile strength of the fabrics.

Application:
It is frequently used to make welding blankets, curtains, pads, jackets, or covers and is also applied to produce high-temperature expansion joints or compensators for flange joints, heat-preservation steam valves, thermal insulation and protection in the metal processing, shipbuilding, heavy machinery, nuclear, and electrical cable industries, as well as thermal ablation material for the aerospace industry.
Storage:
Unless otherwise stated, high silica fiberglass products should be stored in a cold, tidy, dry environment. A temperature range of 15°C to 35°C and a relative humidity range of 35% to 65% are considered ideal. Please keep them in their original packaging until you are ready to use them. Be sure to shield the product from the weather and any water sources. There is no known shelf life for the product when stored properly, but to ensure optimum performance, retesting is required three years from the product's initial production date.
