Application:

Fiberglass braided ropes are designed for various sealing and packing applications including door seals or caulking material for ovens, furnaces, boilers, expansion joints. They can also be used as the core in tadpole gaskets. Last but not the least, the braided ropes are often applied in electrical applications where their high dielectric strength and low electrical constant characteristics are desired.

Storage:

Fiberglass Braided Rope should be used within twelve months of the date of production. It is suggested to keep ropes in its original packing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The surfaces on which the rope is placed should be spotless, dry, and devoid of any pollutants such as grease or oil.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between twisted fiberglass ropes and braided fiberglass ropes?

A: Braided Fiberglass Ropes are stronger, denser, smoother, and more stable than twisted ropes. Twisted Fiberglass Rope is a conformable and economical product, compared to braided fiberglass rope.

Q: What else of the braided ropes do you produce?

A: In addition to the products described here, we can also manufacture custom treated or untreated fiberglass braided ropes.

Q: What shapes of braided ropes can you produce?

A: Round, Square, and Rectangular

Q: Are you sure the braided fiberglass ropes can be used in electrical applications?

A: Yes, they can, but does not apply to wire reinforced braided fiberglass ropes.
