Fiberglass Combo Mat is a complex mat made by stitching fiberglass Woven Roving and Chopped fibers. The continuous roving is cut to a certain length and dropped nondirectionally on the surface of woven roving, sometimes on both sides of woven roving. The combination of woven roving and chopped fibers is stitched together by organic fibers to produce combo mat.
It's compatible with UP, vinyl-ester, phenolic and epoxy resin systems. Combo mat is great for quick laminated build-up and results in high strength.
Fiberglass combo mat is widely applied in FRP pultrusion, hand lay-up, and RTM processes to manufacture FRP boat hulls, car body, panel & sheets, cooling parts & doors, and various profiles.

Fiberglass Combo Mat must be kept in their original packaging until shortly before usage. The storage temperature range is 15 to 35 degrees Celsius. The environment's relative humidity ranges from 35% to 65%. It like cold, dry, and cleanliness but despises water.

A: The width of our regular combo mat is 1040mm and 1270mm. We also export products with width of 1500mm to South America.

A: Yes, ECM450/800/450 is three-layer combo mat. The woven roving is in the middle. Chopped fibers are distributed both sides of the woven roving. The area weight of woven roving is 800g/m2, but the area weight of chopped fiber for one side is 450g/m2.
