Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is a non-woven mat made from fiberglass fibers, which are randomly and evenly distributed on conveyor, then bonded together with Powder or Emulsion binders, and cut into certain width and length after heat forming. It is compatible with UP, VE resins.

Fiberglass chopped strand mat is designed for hand lay-up, compress molding, and machinery processes and widely used in boat building and repair, automotive, cooling towers, bathroom accessories, anti-corrosion pipes, and various panels.

The roll width of the Powder Chopped Strand Mat ranges from 50mm to 3200mm. By contrast, the roll width of the Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat ranges from 50mm to 1270mm.

A: No. it does work well with epoxy resin systems. Instead, please use polyester resin systems to wet out this type of material. This is because polyester resins break down the styrene binder, allowing fibers to become completely saturated
