Fiberglass Assembled Chopping Roving (also known as Multi-end Roving for Chopping) is specially designed to enhance the reinforcement when extremely demanding mechanical performance is required. It is coated with special silane-based sizing, compatible with unsaturated Polyester (UP), and Vinyl ester (VE) resins. Fiberglass Chopping Roving delivers relatively high resin absorbability and excellent choppability, while its finished composite products offer superior water resistance and outstanding chemical corrosion resistance. It is typically used to produce FRP pipes.

Storage:
When being stored, Fiberglass Assembled Chopping Roving must be kept cool, dry, and in its original state. In order to maintain safety and avoid product damage, the pallet should not be stacked higher than three layers; when the pallets are stacked in two or three levels, extra care should be taken to move the top pallet accurately and smoothly. Between 15 and 35 °C at temperature and 35 and 65% relative humidity are the best storage conditions.

Q: Is it the same with fiberglass roving for CSM?
A: No, they are different products. Chopping Roving is typically for Pipe application, but CSM Roving is specially used to produce chopped strand mat. The compatible resins are not the same.
